I haven't cast the new Sage Salt rod yet.

Isn't the Salt a little slower then the Xi3? Be very interested in your opinion.

I personally found a lot of difference between the Xi3 and the Xi2. The Xi2 was a better fish fighting tool then the Xi3, however the Xi3 has pin point accuracy and can cast a mile with one back cast, reminds me of the old IMX that cast a mile also, however it didn't have any back bone either. Perhaps the Salt is some where in between?
