That was the story yesterday on the Stan. After canceling some trips due to weather and pulse flows got back on the water Friday. The pulse flows definitely moved the fish around. Fortunately I know a couple of spots that have held big fish for the last couple of years and they were there yesterday! The water has a little stain to it but a good 3-4' of visibility. We only got 1 to the net, a football shaped 17" torpedo! Lost 2 BIG fish, they just flat out busted off. Rounded out the day with a few little fish in the 12" range.
Thats gonna do it for me on the Stan this year now its off to the "other small stream".
