The ODFW has opened all Klamath Basin Streams and Rivers not listed in Special Regulations to year around fishing. This is huge as it opens the Sprague (a Williamson River tributary). The Sprague holds the same Red Bands as the Williamson along with some resident browns. I am excited as I grew up fishing this fishery in the spring with great results. The fish migrate up the Sprague but then pour back into the Williamson as the Sprague warms. Winter fishing should be amazing. Ill be swinging flies on it after the opener in January. Ill let you all know what I find.
