Our January speaker is local guide Andy Guibord and he will be presenting a program on How to Pose Your Fish. Andy is most widely known for his unique knowledge of the American River and specializes in Striped Bass, Steelhead, and Shad fishing, along with being one of the best casting instructors in our area. He is also a professional photographer and will be sharing his tips on how to photograph your catch. Andy is a longtime friend of this club and has been very generous with his time and knowledge over the years. CFFU considers him to be one of fly fishing’s finest and he lives right here in Sacramento! You don’t want to miss this one!

The CFFU meeting begins at 7 pm on Tuesday, January 5th, and is located at the RICHARD T. CONZELMANN COMMUNITY CENTER, 2201 Cottage Way, Sacramento. The Center is in the Howe Avenue Park close to Howe Avenue. Starting at 6:15 pm is a fly tying demonstration by a club member.

The Howe Avenue Park is located at the Northeast corner of Howe Avenue and Cottage Way. The entrance is on Cottage Way approximately 150 feet east of Howe Ave. across from Home Depot. Overflow parking is available at Home Depot. A map and more information are found at www.cffu.org.
