Very unusual. In the surveys they do of fish moving over Dagguerre Dam, there are only 1-2 browns observed per cycle, if even that...

I have to ask, " How far down on the Lower Yuba do you want to go?" Here's a nice brown taken on a 3/0 Clouser WAY down the Yuba. Actually it was down below Shang Hai Bend falls if you want to call that below the lower Yuba.

That's Waldo in the background… Caught a brownie in everyone's favorite fishing hole on the Yuba. My theory is it was washed down Deer Creek in a big storm. November 2013

No pics, but I caught a brown on a golden stone under the Hwy 20 bridge about 3 years ago.

Hi Bill,

I witnessed my fishing partner land a 19" brown from my favorite fishing hole using a small PT nymph last spring. They are uncommon but not unusual.
