Nice share Bill!

I agree....We need to look at what we have. Rather than look back, and wish we had.

Ugh gag me. Come on guys, just another publicity ploy for her book to get her name out there. If you listen closely to her interviews in the past you'll hear how prideful she is and has even mocked ladies out there taking pictures with steelhead and how they will always be second because she did it first. Makes you sick to your stomach. Then she excuses her moves to get as much publicity as she can because she's in the business of sales, and sales is all about "getting your name out there" she says. Furthermore, claims no one loves the sport more than her. Did I already say gag me? It's no wonder her show was a fail and deserved. Pride before the fall.

Self promotion is nothing new so the devil is in the details. I suggest you check out her podcast on iTunes. Its solid. April does a heck of job connecting with some of our most influential anglers, market makers, and grass-roots organizations.

Here's the listing:

Don't feel bad...she wouldn't go out with me either.

lol please get out more...though if you like lots of makeup and freaky noses then maybe that's your type.

Awood - how hard is it to prepare questions and do an interview. Rhetorical question.

I'll take Cathy Beck: http://www.flyfisherman.com/blogs/barry-and-cathy-beck/

It's a shame I can't find the old Fly Fisherman cover from the 80's or 90's with her on it holding a huge brown trout. It inspired me in many ways.

We are so lucky to have many wonderful women in fly fishing.

I think our sport is perfect for women too.

Cathy Beck is also a very attractive lady.
