Delta 15th

30 yard visibility from fog and a ocean of hyacinth slowed me way down out of the gate. How did early navigators do it without electronics? Thats when men where men, I can only imagine. Hyacinth, which by the way has swallowed up much of the Delta was F'n brutal. I found that casting in the lanes that are created is the only way to stay in the game. Boat handling in these conditions would be impossible with out my Minnkota Ipilot. Avoiding the constant flow of this crap along with casting into fishable water is a major task. I lost a heavy striper when after a good fight she pulled free after getting between me and motor home size island of the crap. The Delta is the heaven cake, fall is the icing. * No animals where harmed during this production.

Nice fish! I've been float tubing in Disco for crappie and bluegills. Caught a couple monsters with by buddy Craig. Seems all the stripers have disappeared out of Disco.
