I'm really likin this, I can put new flies in and move them around in minutes. Looks great on the wall too. The flies are mounted of foam pieces. These aren't the flies going in there, I just put them in to see how it looked

That's a great idea! Do you use a medicine cabinet with glass or did you make it yourself?

I made it myself. Here's a little more about it ...

This display is 13-1/2 x 15-1/2 x 3" overall. The face frame is Black Walnut with some nice character. I used poplar for the rear to reduce weight. Each shelve has a 3/16 groove and you simply insert the 3/16 foam pieces with fly where you want them. Michaels sells the foam for 99 cents for a good size piece. The face frame is hinged with magnetic enclosure

You do really nice work. I'm going to have to practice to improve my less than adequate carpentry skills and try to make a couple of these this winter. Thanks for the inspiration.

It's not a hard design but it is a good bit of work and this one being my prototype isn't perfect. The ones I'm working on now should be hopefully better. I'll post pics of them when finished, hopefully tonight or tomorrow
