Silver Fork Report

Got out for a few hours this afternoon to fish the Silver Fork... Hiked up above the campground at the Caples Creek trailhead. Water was low, clear and cold! The fish weren't rising to anything and they were sticking to the bottom of the deep pools. Had to use some shot and a small weighted fly to get down to them fast enough! Only caught 3 fish and had a few other strikes but not much more. The fish were few and far between and not as eager to bite as I am used to in this section. Came up on a small Black Bear about 15 yds away, we both scared the crap out of eachother. The scenery was great, fish were scarce and the weather was beautiful!

Oh, I also lost a loaded 10rd Beretta 92FS/M9 magazine somewhere along the creek/trail. If anyone happens to find it, I would love to get it back! Thank you!
