October is one of the best months for fly fishing

The weather is not hot, it is not cold, it is just right.


There are so many things to do in Nor Cal that it is hard to choose......


Fall Steelhead in many longer rivers.

Salmon are running into lots of rivers.

Bass & Pan fish can be good.

Stripers are good in the Delta and the reservoirs.

Trout are active in many mid-elevation lakes.

Trout streams that have water are good too.



Too many choices.....

Get a trip on the calendar so it will happen.

Not cold....depends on where you are....

Yeah, depends on where you are. Anchorage will be in the high 20s tonight. Fall is here and the fishing is amazing.

The water was a little too warm so it was slow....still had a great time.

We did the jet boat ride from Gold Beach up to Agness for dinner.

Had good sea food dinner at Spinner's in Gold Beach.

They were catching nice chrome salmon in the first part of the river right below Hwy 101 bridge.

Drove up the coast one day to Port Orford.


Next August we are going further up to the Oregon Dunes.....
