Bryce is a transplanted Oregon Steelhead guide who now live south of Sacramento.

Bryce has three different skiff fisheries he guides in the Delta:

1) Stripers are the big deal for most with fish of the size and numbers possibility.

He guides both top water and subsurface for these powerful aggressive school fish.

Bryce chases Stripers in the fall, winter and spring.

2) Large Mouth Bass are another popular fish in the Delta.

Bryce guides them in the spring and summer with mostly top water.

3) Small Mouth Bass in the north Delta is anther specialty of his that is very exciting fly fishing.

This is all summer long. It is good now......

Bryce says he has been getting lots of "parent with child" clients who are having a great time with hot Small Mouth Bass.

We use to say, "Father & son".......but to be politically correct.

Bryce says this SMB fishery is great for beginner fly fishers.

Top water bugs early in the morning and then streamers just below the surface after it get sunny.
