Best Walk & Wade Section of the Rogue River?

Other than the top end of the river by Shady Cove, could anyone tell me where the best section of the Rogue river is good for Walk & Wade?

I was last looking around the Sam's Valley section above Grant's Pass and it was really hit and miss.

Update:

To avoid any pointless replies, I want to add that I do not need specifics. Just a section or a town.....

I'm mainly just trying to figure out if it is worth driving to the Lower End or hit it below Grant's pass or just stay at the top end when not floating it. I have never fished the Rogue below Touvelle Park/Shady Cove.

I guess so John..lol...thanks for the map.....got a Stream Time map too......Although those maps can sometimes send the walk & wade crew on a wild goose chase. However, they are pretty kickass if you are fishing waters you have never been on.

I find that these maps work out for the most part, definitely better than going in blind. If nothing else it will show you places you can get to on public land without walking through private property. I try to spend my first day in a new area scouting and keeping a mental note of the spots that look fishy, part of the fun of new water.

Hey Bill, funny you mention that .... I went down below the bridge last week and hooked into a real nice fish just around the corner. Best one of the trip....but it tossed my fly. It happened in the first 10 minutes and I thought it was going to be epic, or hoped but didn't get into anything else down there after that.

That is a great area around there above and below......
