Lovely fishless morning at Limantour

Spent a really lovely morning at Limantour looking for perch. Cast the flies that have worked into outgoing tide water that looked promising for a few hours, until the wind came up and we both almost lost an ear casting. Not a bump. Anyone finding any perch or even stripers in Bay Area surf?

I have not seen any reports lately, they may have moved south, Moss Landing, Oceanside, Monterey, Carmel.

Fished near the Santa Cruz harbor over the weekend early AM on the outgo and caught a few perch but nothing to write home about. Did see a fair amount of small fry bait breaking the surface but didn't hook anything around the bait. Also spent a fair amount of time at Crow's Nest and didn't see a single hook up for the guys fishing the jetty for salmon. Always fun to get out. Surf was low and not a ton of structure on the beaches.
