Finally made it to the OP last week for the the first time but was sad to learn that most of the rivers were closed due to low water and high temperature. I went south instead to fish the Cowlitz and had some success swinging Intruders with the hatchery Steelheads.

I may have another opportunity to pass by the OP again in the last week of Nov to fish for a few days. Would the hatchery fish have return to the OP rivers in sufficient numbers to fish by late Nov? Would the Coho still be around and in decent shape to eat a fly? Alternatively, if the OP in late Nov is not fishable, would the Upper Rogue still have sufficient Summer Steelhead to grab a swinging fly around 26 Nov?

Thanks in advance.

Good time for the Trinity River if it has enough water.

Being a tailwater, flows are not the issue. Clarity could be, especially after a rain silts up Trinity Lake and it suspends the sediment washed in from previous fires. This was an issue last winter.
