Aloha, got this nice 50lb ahi yesterday. Some great sashimi and nice steaks for dinner tonight. I am going to make this ahi dish with bacon wrapped around it like a filet. I then sear it is shoyu and poache it in white wine. Great ahi dish. Going back out for some bigger ones this week. Love ahi season, Mems.

Aloha Don,.... That's sure a beautiful Ahi. Lots of good eating there. Do you make Poke'??? I had my first taste of Hawaiian Poke" at Jonathan's TailHunter Restaurant in June. MMM, MMM.... I'm hooked now. :cool:

Yeah Poke is great, had some with dinner last night. I like it with mac nut oil, crushed mac nuts, and some avacado.
