I wish I could find old magazine articles online?

I read lots of great magazine articles as a young man in the 1950s, 60s and 70s.

These were written by our fly fishing greats like A J McClane, Lefty Kreh, Chico Fernandez, Joe Brooks and others.

Is there a place where these article can be found?

Probably in a bunch of those old magazines I just gave away to the hospital for their waiting rooms :)

Good idea. An archive would be nice, but perhaps copyright laws prevent an individual from doing that?

Tony - I wish I knew you gave all them away - I have a great collection. I been adding to it with others that are getting rid of the old mags. I like looking at the changes and vads that the mags show and the politicial times. In fact I was reading a Fly Fishermen from 1975 that showed a angler holding up a fish by the placing his finger in the gills. There was blood running down the body of the fish. You would never see that today!

Fly Tying articles and technques talked about in the old mags are great - things you can always get ideas from.

I read tons of stuff from Joe Brooks, Lefty, Chjco and the stuff the Lee did are all great!
