Our July speaker is Jessica Strickland from Trout Unlimited. She will be presenting a program on the “Sportsmen’s Conservation Project” (SPC), an initiative that educates, organizes and promotes grassroots-level action among anglers and hunters to better protect and manage our public lands.

Jessica will talk about what’s happening on our National Forests and emphasize TU’s effort in the Eastern Sierra.
Jessica is an avid angler who lives in the Mammoth area and will also be sharing fishing opportunities and techniques for this world-renowned trout fishing destination. This program comes at a great time as our club is planning a campout-fish out to Mammoth in August. Have your questions ready! This promises to be a great program

The CFFU meeting starts at 7 pm on Tuesday July 7th, and is located at the RICHARD T. CONZELMANN COMMUNITY CENTER, 2201 Cottage Way, Sacramento. The Center is in the Howe Avenue Park close to Howe Avenue. Starting at 6:15 pm is a fly tying demonstration by a club member.

The Howe Avenue Park is located at the Northeast corner of Howe Avenue and Cottage Way. The entrance is on Cottage Way approximately 150 feet east of Howe Ave. across from Home Depot. Overflow parking is available at Home Depot. A map and more information is found at www.cffu.org.

All are welcome to join us and hear Jessica Strickland’s presentation and learn more about CFFU.
