Hi,

On the morning of July 18 at the Golden Gate club in SF there is going to be an informal spey competition. This will be sort of a low-key practice/recruitment event aimed at local casters. Start time is 9AM.

For more info see this link with registration details (http://ggacc.org/event-1973063?CalendarViewType=1&SelectedDate=7/24/2015)

There will be a spey-o-rama style competition first, followed by an opportunity for Q&A with the casters and to get some hands-on casting tips. If you are interested in picking up tips about casting longer lines, are curious about tournament casting and how it can help your fishing, or are just looking to raise your spey game and would like to meet some like-minded local folks, this would be a great opportunity.

All experience levels are welcome.

If you are interested in competing or in getting some instruction please register at the link. PM me or contact the organizer directly for more info. While the full attendance list is not known at this point, hopefully some of the more experienced & accomplished casters that hang out at GGACC will be competing and staying for the following seminar. I'll be there too. :)
