Upper Sac 6/27-28?

I am going to be in McCloud and want to take a friend fishing for her first time. She has been casting for a short while now but never fished.
We have a small window to get to some water and I am thinking a very early morning trip to the Upper Sac may be the best bet. I was thinking the Cantara area....

Anyone been there as of late?
