We visit my wife's relatives in southeastern South Dakota every year, spring or fall.
Lots of hunters and anglers in South Dakota, but not many fly fishers.
I usually get one or two converts to fly fishing on every trip.
Last night we went to a family farm, out of Platte, SD, and got several people infected with the help of aggressive large mouth bass on poppers.
Most hunt and fish their entire life so they are ready for something new and different.
With good farm ponds it is pretty easy to get someone going.......
