Bauer mx5 fly reel

This Bauer MX5 reel has been one of my work horses in Baja. It has been tested on some of the toughest fish swimming the waters of Baja. I landed a 60lb yellow fin, a 55lb rooster, a 48lb dorado so as you see this reel is built with stand the toughest things swimming. This reel definitely has some "boat rash" but it doesn't affect the performance of the reel. It has a cork disc drag system. This Bauer MX5 is designed for salt water use
So if you can live with the the cosboat rash on the reel frame, this is a reel that you need for salt water fishing I will also put some new 30lb dacron backing on the reel.

I still have the Bauer MX5 reel for sale. Like I mentioned earlier, if you can live with a cosmetic blem called boat rash, this would be a great reel for the salt water game. I have photo's that I can send showing the boat rash. Mechanically it's in perfect condition.

This reel has landed a lot of big roosters, dorado's, a small marlin, queen fish, long tail tuna. So it's not a virgin
