Are there alternative anchor pulley systems for the Pac 1200? I am looking for one without routing of rope but rather a straight pull version. I have a 20 lbs anchor.

I have an ODC 1200. I mounted a scotty anchor to my back platform, although my buddy had a a pulley system on his PAC 1200 that I really liked.

Check out the scotty system and you can mount it with a few bolts and route the rope where ever you like.

I contacted Scotty and their limit is 15 pound anchor in still water. I have a 20 pound anchor. What pulley system does your friend have?

He had a pulley system that came on the boat, and then a pinch to hold that would jam rope from slipping. The pullys were rigged so the anchor was behind you but the rope was easily accessible by the captains chair, vs my scotty that I have to run around and release. But it is much better than when I was just tying the anchor to my frame. The pulley system was great for dropping a line out in the river, although I have a 15lb anchor and a scotty, I end up beaching my boat a lot to get out and swing.
