View Full Version : Simms awesome warranty........
Had a pair of 3 yr old Freestone boots that had the insole come apart on me. I emailed Simms and they told me to send them in for evaluation. I was ready to buy a new pair and just move on from these but I paid the shipping and sent them anyways. 10 days later I get an email telling me they are replacing the boots under warranty. Thanks Simms!!

Great news, sounds like they changed there ways with warranties! I had the complete opposite experience with them on a wading jacket that was 2 years old but only was worn maybe 6 months of that time.

I had an issue with a pair of G3 waders I owned for about 60 days. Simms took care of the problem but they hassled me about it. The person I was dealing with warned me that they would be flagging my name for any future warranty issues I had. I have not purchased any Simms products since, sold the G3 waders and got Patagonias

That's cool, they wouldn't repair a pair of boots that split at the seems for me that wasn't even a year old. That is why I no longer buy anything from them. Glad they took care of you!
