I would love to meet Jeff one day on the American and learn more of the art of shad swinging.

Shad have always been the fish that got a lot of people into fly fishing for other game fish like Stripers, salmon and Steelhead.

Going out after work during the week for a few hours for Shad is good for the soul, especially if you live near the Lower American River.
