Easter Sunday

I had two of my oldest friends in town this weekend. One was the guy who introduced me to fly fishing 30 years ago and the other was, at one time, the youngest long range Captain in the San Diego long range fleet. I was OFF on Easter Sunday so they talked me into taking them out to the Delta for a morning trip, for free, of coarse. Well it was overcast and high tide at first light with almost no boat traffic so that means Top-Water. We made four stops and were lucky enough to find good fish at each. They even let me fish for a bit. Started pouring rain at 11:00 so we left the fish biting and went home.
