Skookum Products Steelheader II (12 foot, two man pontoon) up for sale. The boat is in great shape, the pontoons have never been punctured or repaired, and the package includes the following:

-12 foot pontoons (whitewater grade, not those skinny ones)
-two piece galvanized steel frame with two seats, three platforms (caster, rower, cooler/storage) and a casting brace
-30lb anchor, rope, pulley system and cleat (30lb is overkill, but that's what I've got)
-super heavy duty, upgraded, big boy oars--8' Cataract shafts in black with Sawyer Dynalite blades and removable counter-balance cuffs (this is about $750 worth of newish oars)
-electric pump (car cigarette lighter) and K-Pump barrel pump for topping off and on the river (http://www.k-pump.com/products/pumps/k-pump-k100.html)
-Aire brand bag for the tubes (http://aire.com/accessories/deluxe-boat-bag.asp)
-oar rights, oar locks and oar leashes
-NRS stripping basket that fits on the casting brace
-two large dry bags for storage
-all required cam straps for rigging plus a few extras
-miscellaneous extra valve parts, emergency patch kit, tools, etc.

This boat is 100% river ready, and everything is in great shape. Here's the manufacturer's website: http://www.steelheader.com/index.php?act=viewProd&productId=3

This is a very versatile boat--you can fish it on all the big Sac Valley rivers and take it down small, tricky rivers were drift boats can get into trouble (think coastal steelhead rivers and the canyon float on the Trinity). Also, you can launch and take out where drift boats can't, which can open up some great water. I have never owned a trailer for this boat and have always car-topped it using my full-sized SUV (frame on the roof for long halls, and entire boat on the roof for traveling around the fishing destination). A Harbor Freight trailer would do just fine if your rig isn't big enough to put this thing on the roof. With two people, the boat takes about 35-40 minutes to put together and about 20 minutes to put it away.

$1,900 for the package. The attached picture with the boat on the river is from a month1054010541 ago. The picture of the boat stripped down shows the original oars, not the upgraded ones that come with this boat. The boat is in Redding. If you're new to rowing, and our schedules can jive, I would be happy to go down the Lower Sac with you (you rowing) to help you get started and build a little confidence. PM me with any questions.
