Anyone a member? For $100 a year it's not a big risk.
I was a member 15 years ago and liked it for panfish and some bass. Wonder if it's still fishing well?

Haven't fished there in years. Real close to my office, might have to get another membership.
was a member for a few years in the early 2K era. Nice and quiet, some ok bass and crappie action from a tube. Kids loved it. Summer gets hot- water gets low.

Went out today, not bad. Three redear, two crappie, two bass 1# and 3# (lost at the pontoon) and lost count on the bluegills. Probably around 15 fish total. The panfish were pretty small, few decent gills/ears.
If you fish glass, bamboo, or light IM6 it's a blast. I was fishing glass and old graphite and even the smallest bluegill put a good bend in the rods. If you're looking for the big guys, probably gonna be a tough hunt there. It's a numbers lake for ultra light gear. Worth $100 for the year--to me, yes. It's better than Cameron Park, closer for many of us, and never crowded.
