Smallmouth .....Scotts Flat Lake

Last week i stopped by Reel Anglers Fly Shop, and Tom said that if i liked smallmouth fishing i should check out Scotts Flat Lake, so this morning i caught a couple of nice smallmouth before the wind came up.
Water temp. 55 degrees

Beautiful fish! I'd imagine that thing put up a good fight.

Ryan.....pound for pound a small mouth is the hardest fighting bass in fresh water....they don't want to give up.

Great report, glad to know they are active now. Your spot is the best I've found on the lake for smallies. There are some good ones in there too. Last year I got a 5#er.
