Aloha, been catching some nice bones lately, must be the full moon. Got this one in kona over the weekend and got a nice one yesterday in Hilo. The ono are starting to show up off shore, so spring has come early. Hope you all have a good start to 2015, Mems.

Way to go Don. That looks like perfect water but I don't recognize it as being around Kailua. Maybe a little farther north around Aneahoomaulu ? I've got to do some more scouting if I'm wrong :)

Aloha Don!! Good looking Bonefish ya got there. You've really got it made with catching Bonefish and the prospect of Ono, too. I'm envious....

Aloha guys, thanks for the nice comments. Tony if I told you where it was it would get ruined quickly. I have a friend who fishes there and the rock is named after him, Bruce's rock. I got another one that day, the school hung around. I went out in Hilo today and got a nice 5lber and a cuda. Good fun for only fishing for an hour. Darian, we will be chasing ono when the wind dies down a little. We had thunder and snow on the mountain and I got caught in a hail storm driving home from kona. Wild spring weather, but still nice down at the beach. Hope you guys are hitting the water when you can. laterz, Don
