The CFFU March 3rd. speaker is Andrew Harris and he will be presenting a program on Fly Fishing the Lower Sac Without a Bobber. Believe it or not, you can catch fish on the Lower Sac on a variety of techniques that don’t involve a big bobber and a ton of lead. Andrew’s presentation covers dry flys, streamers, swinging, spey and tight-line nymphing techniques. He will also go over the wading access points available to us on this amazing trout fishery.

Andrew guides all over Northern CA and also operates Eagle Canyon out of Red Bluff. He is an FFF certified casting instructor along with being a frequent contributing writer for California Fly Fisher Magazine. If you would like to add to your fly fishing skills, then plan on being here taking notes!

This promises to be a terrific program that you do not want to miss!

The CFFU meeting starts at 7 pm on Tuesday March 3rd, and is located at the RICHARD T. CONZELMANN COMMUNITY CENTER, 2201 Cottage Way, Sacramento. The Center is in the Howe Avenue Park close to Howe Avenue. Starting at 6:15 pm is a fly tying demonstration by a club member.

The Howe Avenue Park is located at the Northeast corner of Howe Avenue and Cottage Way. The entrance is on Cottage Way approximately 150 feet east of Howe Ave. across from Home Depot. Overflow parking is available at Home Depot. A map and more information is found at www.cffu.org.

All are welcome to come to hear Andrew Harris’ presentation and learn more about CFFU.
