The California Fly Fishers Unlimited (CFFU) will have Rob Anderson, a renowned fly fishing guide at Pyramid Lake, NV, as our guest speaker. Rob has 10+ years as a guide at Pyramid Lake. Guests interested in fly fishing at Pyramid Lake are welcome to attend.
Located 40 miles northeast of Reno, Pyramid Lake is home to the Lohontan Cutthroat, which grows to epic proportions.
Rob will explain access points, techniques, gear and fly patterns. You will gain valuable information from the years Rob has spent as a guide at Pyramid Lake. This is a fantastic presentation you do not want to miss!
The CFFU meeting starts at 7 pm on Tuesday Feb. 3rd, and is located at the RICHARD T. CONZELMANN COMMUNITY CENTER, 2201 Cottage Way, Sacramento. The Center is in the Howe Avenue Park close to Howe Avenue. Starting at 6:15 pm is a fly tying demonstration by a club member.
The Howe Avenue Park is located at the Northeast corner of Howe Avenue and Cottage Way. The entrance is on Cottage Way approximately 150 feet east of Howe Ave. across from Home Depot. Overflow parking is available at Home Depot. A map and more information is found at www.cffu.org.
