Winter birds certainly are beautifully colored. Will you miss all of the variety when you move back to Oregon???

Thanks guys. I will miss the birds but it is a very small sacrifice to get back to my home. Mark, I'll be in Oregon in one month. I can't wait!

Wow...makes me miss Jersey. Cardinal was always my favorite...my mom always put some on the Christmas tree...and a Blue Jay...none of that Stellar Jay stuff for me. Great photos Jay.

Jay,
Classic stuff as usual. I'm enjoying my hummers. The ones that stay for the winter in Sun Diego really have
some great personalities,
Best,
Larry S

Nice pics, Jay!

We have ginormous flocks (10,000's of individuals at least) of Robins here in Woodland, CA these past couple of weeks. They must migrate down here from somewhere up North since they leave here in the Springtime.

They roost in my trees at night and the resident magpies chase them around at dusk. They seem to be feeding in the lawns and ag fields during the day. Quite cool to see! I had a video but I guess it got deleted from my phone- will get another soon.

Best,
