This week produced some bigger fish than last. Most fish are eating eggs, san jauns and buggers. When the sun makes it through the clouds and fog there is a pretty good BWO hatch around 1pm with some surface activity. There are some rumors about emergency flow reductions on the Moke (like 220cfs isn't bad enough) so if you are thinking about going you should do it soon. Also there is a tree that came down about a 1/2 mile above Mackville bridge there is only a small passage on river right so be careful. I was able to get my drift boat through by walking it.

Below is a pic of the big fish of the week- 24" wild fish (if you look close you will see the bugger in his mouth)

We'll be on the American tomorrow in the small boats for the first time this season.
