Good looking bucktails, Gene. Have you tried them yet?? Is any one color better the others??

Darian.....this fly isn't a bucktail, its tied with Fox Furr or craft fur, which acts like marabou.

I started fishing for bass about 5 years ago with Fox Furr flies and the bass really liked it. Its a big fly so i wasn't to sure how the Cutts would like it, the suspended Cutthroat FAILED last year, so i went back to a black streamer tied with Fox Furr and caught a couple of those big Cutts at the end of season last year.
Color....I caught fish on all 3 of those colors.
I think those BIG Cutts are feeding on those planted Cutthroats, and the Cui Ui is also planted into Pyramid Lake.
The flu bug has keep me from going outside so i been playing with my flies and posting stuff.....sorry about all the posts.
Here is a web site that talks about this Fox Furr, Craft Fur and shows that you can put Dap Kwik Seal on the head to keep it from hanging up on the hook.....i haven't try this yet.

Gene,.... Have you thought about developing a Tui Chub pattern for Pyramid??? Since it's the species that comprises the largest biomass in the lake, it follows that Tui Chub would be a major prey species for Cutthroat. The following link provides some info about Tui Chubs in the lake:
