Bishop area suggestions?

My brother wants to get back on the water. I suggested the Owens area since it's between us (Sacramento and LA) and fishes well in the winter. Will be his first time fishing since the crazy African train accident messed up his arm so I want to get him into so fish. Anyone recommend a good guide? I used to fish the area a fair bit, but that was close to 20 years ago now and don't want to mess around.
