Anyone have idea of how river is likely to be at the weekend?
I heard today it was still ok but not sure how much rain they had later in the day or fc for tmw.
Have a float planned for sat, hoping it's going to be ok.

Lots of rain and the river is roaring and still rising
look at the Ca river levels and decide
Be careful as there is lots of debris and wood floating down

Update on trip.
We hooked 7 landed 3 on sat, two were Browns. The water colored up in the day and action was at start and end of day when it cleared.
I reckon sun and mon would been great days on trinity.
Really mild up there for December.

A couple buddies and I floated on sun and monday. SOunds like sat was a bit better with the colored up water.
I went 4 for 5 and landed a brown in the 2 days. But the trinity is a super ugly place so there is no reason to go there ;)

I was planning on going this weekend for the first time ever. With this storm I'm going to push it off till next weekend. Not sure how quick the river clears up after the rains of this magnitude.

Yeah assume theyve had lots of rain, I don't know the river enough to advise you but imagine when it settles it could be hot.

You can check Dreamflows and get an idea of the CFS at various points on the river. If I remember Douglas City was at a 1000 CFS which is high, with that said DC was at 3000 CFS yesterday.

the T got up over 28,000 cfs down at Hoopa during the storm - pretty impressive!!!!
