Found Fly Rod 11/22/14 (Lower Owens River)
On Saturday afternoon, 11/22/14 we were parked at the same pull out on the East side of the Lower Owens just North of Bishop, CA. We spoke for a bit before we hit the water. My son (he found it leaning on the big rock) and I really hope to get you your beautiful Rod and Reel back to you, even though my 12 yr old son thinks you might be an angel sent by Jesus to leave him a new fly rod because I am a lefty and he uses my rigs and he is a righty. . . I digress.

Anyway, if you see this, let me know what Car you were driving and what your Rod/Reel make is.

This is a good thing you're doing and your son deserves praise for going along with trying to find the owner. I also posted a link to this thread on a SoCal board I frequent, as lots of us fish that water (I'll be there this week as a matter of fact). Thanks,
