Thought a few folks might find this interesting; sad and frustrating for sure, but also interesting and important:

Kind of a series of specific points and issues regarding the drought, and the water politics of the state, along with a variety of perspectives. Certainly not a complete story, or overly heavy on details, but still a lot of key info in there.

Interesting promo material but necessary if any NGO is going to raise enough $$$$$ to carry out it's mission. Good high level summary of petroleum/water problems in this state.

Yes, it is not any sort of unbiased, nor complete picture. Far too complex an issue (issues really) for that. I shared it as I thought they did a nice job of giving a lot of the key tidbits in a very easy to read and digest format. And yes they are very much drumming up $$$ in a hurry to support their efforts, which are not small in scale.

Anyways, hopefully some folks might learn a thing or two from it or pass it on to someone they know who might be interested to learn more about the waterworks of the state. Particularly important to be more vocal about these things, as was stated on the web feature, since some important changes have been being made very quietly with little media/public scrutiny.
