Swinging flies in late fall

I've been using my switch rod to swing flies on one of my local rivers lately. Only been using streamers, either on a type 6 or 8 ten-foot tip. Was wondering if anyone had suggestions for other types of flies to swing, and on what type of tip. The only hatches of late have been BWOs and midges.
