Eggs with a side of eggs

The fish on the Klamath are on a VERY steady egg diet right now. Fishing is VERY GOOD on the Klam. I spent a couple days on the water from Iron Gate to Copco bridge last week. We were well into double digits every day. Most fish were adults and all fish were wild. Fish were pretty hot with multiple jumps and runs. I think the river should fish well for several weeks to come.

Do you think the fish are on the eggs exclusively or will they still take a swung fly? there was a real cold snap today in redding... Also I have never fished the klamath around Irongate but I have heard that bank assess is difficult up around there. Do you think fish are stacked up around there or will there still be opportunities down A bit below I Five? Any advice would be appreciated.

Patrick, you are correct about bank access. I would certainly try fishing around I-5. Most of the fish we were hooking were pretty hot and we had some very aggressive takes so you might do well swinging.
