All,

I doubt there are many of you out there, but I know that at least a few of you fish for muskies. I have been experimenting with some musky flies, and I would like to try them out. Unfortunately, I'm at least two thousand miles from the nearest musky and don't have any plans to fish for them until late 2015. So, I'm looking for a person or two to get these flies wet and try them out in musky waters.

I'll tie the flies and take care of shipping. You just have to fish them and report back. The flies are all based, either loosely or not so loosely, off of Bill Sherer's patterns. (If you are not familiar with Bill, he is the godfather of the whole musky fly fishing thing that has become popular in recent years. I've had the most luck with his flies.) I also wouldn't mind sending a couple patterns to striper guys to see how they work.

Let me know.

Get ahold of Doc Cedar. He's leaving for a combo striper / musky trip in two weeks.

You can probably private mail him on a link from this forum. If you have trouble I'll have him get ahold of you,
Tony

Looks like I might have missed Doc by a day. Anyone else?

Here are some samples. I could do a few striper-appropriate colors if anyone is interested.
