Here are the three proto type ballyhoo tube flies that I will soon have on my web sites. Now that they are ready, I'm sure the sardina's will be back in the La Ventana area in numbers. I just talked to one of my captains, last week and he said they are finding schools of bait (sardina's) ranging from 1 1/2" to 3". So 2015 might be another good year for early season Grande Pez Gallo.

Clear Tube Nose

I'm also waiting for some new style tubes. They are lighter and will float somewhat better. These flies are tied on HMH tubes. The flies are approximately 6".

Yep!!! Those flies'll work just fine at La Ventana or out at Isla Cerralvo. Good colors, bulk and length. Plus, the hook can be placed far back enough to stick the short strikers....
