Bill thanks for posting all these great dam removal stories.
We bitch & moan about numerous issues on the site, and in many cases rightfully so.
But it's good to hear these positive stories. Especially first accounts.

That was my immediate concern. It is probably somewhat inevitable that with the drought we've been having that there would be a renewed push for more dams. Like everything it's probably a cyclical thing, but at the very least there does seem to be a general recognition nowadays that dams do have some negative impacts. Hopefully we can at least see some of the worst ones go, while preventing some particular new dams from being built. Likely not all, but one can hope.
