Plan a good trip in October 2014?

Many feel October is our single best month for fly fishing in Nor Cal.


It is a great time to swing wet flies for fall Steelhead in many of our longer rivers.

Fly fishing for trout in lakes at the mid-elevation is usually excellent.

Stripers in the Delta is another possibility in October with November being the top month.

Bass & Panfish are usually in the shallows feeding in October.

Big trout in our good size streams get hungry in the fall too.

Salmon are another thing to chase in October in Nor Cal rivers.
