This has been one of my favorite areas for steelhead.

According to http://www.eelriverrecovery.org it looks like the river has been like this for at least a week or so.

Seen on Moldy Chum.

Pretty low......very sad.

Are they taking water out of the Eel River and sending it over to the Sacramento River?

I know they do that with the Trinity River.

Nope, Bill, they steal water from the Eel to feed the Russian river and it's associated vineyards. Also pot grows take their share of it.

Sad!

Pot grows take a huge amount of water. They also send poison chemicals into the system.

It's a horrible drought.
