A friend of mine with a very old computer who can't register on this board asked me to post the following for sale.
7'6" Orvis 2/1 Madison 3 5/8 oz Far and Fine. Nickel silver slide band over bird's eye maple reel seat. Serial number 89,xxx, built in 2000. Labeled as a WF5F which is what I think it handles best. Label inscription is beginning to fade. Otherwise in excellent shape and fished very little. In original Orvis aluminum case and sack. $450.
8'6" Orvis 2/1 Madison 4 3/8 oz. Labeled as an 8 weight but excellent with a WF7F. Originally downlocking, the reel seat was changed to an Orvis nickel silver uplocking seat with morticed bird's eye maple insert. Serial number 84,xxx built in 1980. Owner's name inscribed by Orvis below the model information. Excellent shape and fished very little. In original Orvis black aluminum case and sack. $400.
