It really isn't but it is getting close.
September, October and November are some fantastic months for fly fishing in Nor Cal.
Everything gets better..............
Bass & pan fish turn on.....mid=Sept to mid-Oct
Trout in streams get hungry.....October
Trout in lakes go on the feed.....October
Stripers in the Delta are fantastic.....November
Steelhead come into many rivers..........October
Salmon make there migratory run to spawn and die.........October
October is a great month....too bad there is only one of them.
Plan some trips soon. Get them on the calendar or you might not get to go?
