I spend a lot of time in BC. I've fished most all the major rivers and more than a few little-known tribs. I can tell you Babine Norlakes is for real. The fish in that video are representative of the fish I and my buddies have encountered and they LOVE the dry fly. I'll be headed back there the third week in Sept., and while I never take steelhead for granted, and certainly know what it feels like to get skunked, that place is as close to a sure thing as one is going to encounter. It's not for everyone as they fish three (or four) to a boat and you don't have a guide holding a net for you all the time, but it's one of the greatest pieces of steelhead water anywhere. And the home pool you see in front of those red cabins in the video has to be one of the best home pools ever...
