Heard they got an inch of rain up at Quincy, CA.

The cooler temps should be a break for the fish though.

Just got back from the high country in the eastern Sierra and it poured for hours on Sunday night and almost all of Monday. Tuesday was better, but not much. Backpacking and fishing in a downpour ain't fun!

Me and the family got hit pretty good last Thurs while camping near Lee Vinning. Thunder and lighting show was spectacular then the pouring turning into hail the size of egg sinkers and all clear in a spacer of 2 hours. Typical summer afternoon on the East Side. The $79.99 Coleman 10 person tent with rainfly held up like a champ. Fishing was on fire afterwords and seeing both my small kids get into wily big browns was a real treat to see.
