Bill,
Amazing how technology advances in leaps and bounds. I was born in 1938; our Ohio farmhouse
had a wall-mounted crank-operated party line phone. One would ring the operator and she would place the call.
I bought my last film camera in 2000; high quality digitals were still considered a bit "iffy." Still have some
film in unused boxes in the fridge. I have donated several film cameras to our local colleges for their
photography classes.
Wonder what the next 5 - 10 years will bring.
Best,
Larry S

I was born in 1945.....we had no TVs.
Most families had one car......one phone.....small homes........one table top radio..........no much.
Now we have so much cool stuff it is just wild.
Many young people have a smart phone and that is what they use for most everything.
I think small cheap P&S camera sales are kind of like wrist watch sales......not much now.
